I'm a city kid from Minneapolis. I grew up listening to a ton of classical music. At the age of thirteen I discovered some of the local hip-hop, got really into it, and started learning as much as I could. Around the age of fifteen, I started getting into alternative music, like Modest Mouse. My music tastes since then have grown tremendously. I listen to a whole range of music by many different artists. Of course there are those few that I love so much they stand above all others. Those bands are: David Bowie, Philip Glass, The Knife, PRINCE, Lucy Michelle And The Velvet Lapelles, The Arcade Fire, TV on the Radio, Big L, and Mos Def. I'm sure there are others but I'm blanking right now.
